Maybe it’s my middle aged eyes but putting a coat of wax on a white car sucks. I tried inside, outside under cloudy sky, outside under sun through thin high clouds. It didn’t seem to matter. I must have looked like Stanley Spadowski (you kids can google that) getting into all kinds of contorted positions looking for just the right angle to get a hint of which areas were covered and which weren’t.
Does anyone make a wax that goes on florescent orange but then buffs to clear?

What kind of lighting do you have inside? I have found Daylight ( Not soft white) LEDs to work the best. Perhaps try changing out your garage bulbs?
